The Milwaukee Public Museum debuts a global-touring exhibition of South African revolutionary Nelson Mandela
MILWAUKWEE (CBS 58)--A current exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum showcases 95 years of living of a South African revolutionary, political leader, and philanthropist who served as the country’s first black head of state in the 1990s.
It’s all about the life of Nelson Mandela. Designed to educate, entertain, and inspire, this immersive and interactive exhibition features previously unseen film, photos, and the display of more than 150 historical artifactsand personal effects on loan from the Mandela family, museums, and archives worldwide. Those with the museum say what’s on display is a good way to examine this leader’s legacy
