Man charged in connection to deadly Milwaukee flag football shooting
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin man is riding his bike 1,200 miles across four states, all in an effort to raise awareness for living kidney donations.
On Friday, June 7, Mark Scotch -- who calls his bike ride "The Organ Trail" -- stopped at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin to tout his ride.
This is the fifth year Scotch has taken on the three-week trek.
He says it's important for people to know you can still lead an active life after donating an organ.
"There is a need, and that people can donate, you don't have to be a match anymore, they got ways to figure all that out and you can just donate if you wanna save someone's life and live a completely normal life after," Scotch said.
