Tickets sell out to Brett Favre's Packers Hall of Fame induction
Approximately 67,000 tickets to view Brett Favre's Packers Hall of Fame induction ceremony sold out.
The tickets were to watch the TundraVision video boards from the Lambeau Field.
“We are looking forward to sharing the excitement for Brett Favre's induction into the Packers Hall of Fame with 67,000 fans viewing the banquet on the video boards in Lambeau Field,” said Packers Hall of Fame Inc. president Perry Kidder. “We are pleased with the enthusiastic response to this viewing opportunity, which will be a special complement to a historic evening.”
The tickets, priced at $4 each, were on sale through Ticketmaster beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, and grant admission to the seating bowl to watch the July 18 induction ceremony on the TundraVision video boards. During the evening, Favre will also make an appearance in the bowl to address the crowd.
Additionally, the induction ceremony, which will feature the retirement of No. 4 by the Packers organization, also will be carried live by the Packers TV Network and NFL Network as well as streamed live on packers.com.
Net proceeds from the viewing opportunity ticket sales will benefit Favre 4 Hope. Parking, also priced at $4, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lambeau Field's west-side parking lot, which will open for the event at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. Gates to the seating areas will open at 5:15 p.m., and Favre will address the fans in the stadium at approximately 6:30 p.m.
More information about parking and gate entry will be communicated as the event approaches.
Additionally, Favre's name and No. 4 will subsequently be unveiled inside Lambeau Field on the north façade during a ceremony at the Packers' home game against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving night, November 26, 2015.
