Drivers are hitting the road to travel this summer, and as gas prices go up, a local car care experts are giving out tips to safe on fuel.
Jerome Staley, AAMCO Vice President of Operations joined CBS 58 in the studio Tuesday, June 15 with five tips for fuel efficiency
- Avoiding hard braking or rapid acceleration, use cruise control when possible.
- Make sure tires are inflated to proper PSI (pounds per square inch).
- Avoid excessive idling.
- Remove excess weight on top, in tow, or inside your vehicle
- Perform regular car maintenance - Don’t ignore check engine light!
