MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Two people are recovering after being shot Monday night in Milwaukee.
Police say the two victims were driving in a car near 14th and Locust around 9:40 p.m. when they were shot. Authorities say bullets also hit a nearby Milwaukee Fire house but caused minor damage.
The victims, a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, continued driving. The driver drove through a red light near Locust and Sherman and hit another car. Both cars were disabled from the crash.
The shooting victims then got a ride to a hospital by a citizen who witnessed the crash.
Both victims are expected to be okay.
MPD continues to investigate the shooting and search for suspects.
