USPS to hold job fair in Thiensville Tuesday, Dec. 14

THIENSVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The United States Postal Service (USPS) in Thiensville is hosting a job fair Tuesday, Dec. 14, in preparation for the busy holiday season and beyond.

Immediate openings are available for the positions of rural carrier associate, assistant rural carrier and city carrier assistant.

The job fair is set to take place from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Thiensville Post Office, located at 124 W. Freistadt Road.

USPS personnel will be on-site to provide information on the positions and answer questions.

Starting pay for rural carrier associates and assistant rural carriers is $19.06 per hour, and for city carrier assistant is $18.51 per hour and $27.77 per hour overtime, paid bi-weekly.

Applications must be 18 years old, be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background check. Applicants must also be able to work weekends and holidays.
