UW-Whitewater presents 'Wreckage,' a tale of mystery and dark revelations

WHITEWATER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's College of Arts and Communication will soon present "Wreckage" by Sally Stubbs, directed by Bruce Cohen.

This stage production is a drama that unfolds in the dark corners of Vancouver and follows Violet as she unravels a mysterious past involving her mother's disappearance after a train wreck 25 years prior. Using her mother's diary, Violet uncovers bizarre and shadowy secrets, navigating a world of gangster chefs and a Puccini-singing ghost.

With its intense themes, the production is recommended for adult audiences.

The drama will be staged in the Hicklin Studio Theatre. Beginning Friday, performances are set to take place from Friday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 14 with show times including 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 6, 12 and 13, and 2 p.m. on Oct. 7, 8 and 14.
