Successfully faking your own death is hard, but it can be done
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 16-year-old is dead after a shooting on the city's south side.
It happened last night near 27th and Oklahoma just after 10 p.m.
Police say the teen was taken to the hospital where they later died from their injuries.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Xavier Davis.
A vigil was set at the scene where it happened in the Davis' honor.
CBS 58 spoke with neighbors who live in the area, and they say they are worried about their family's safety as they feel the neighborhood is getting more dangerous.
"It's making us worried because we have four grandchildren and they come out and play and it's getting worse and worse every time," said Antonio Serna, neighbor.
MPD is still investigating the shooting. As of Nov. 13, no arrests have been made.
