Visit Milwaukee preview: Aug. 23-25

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson of Visit Milwaukee joined us Thursday, Aug. 22 to preview several events happening in the Milwaukee area this weekend, through Sunday, Aug. 25.

The Fresh Coast Jazz Festival will take place on Friday, Aug. 23 at the Pabst Theater, featuring performances by artists such as Boney James and Andrea Lisa. The festival will continue through Saturday, Aug. 24.

Mexican Fiesta begins Friday at the Summerfest grounds and runs through Sunday. The event will feature music, food and cultural activities celebrating Mexican heritage.

City Lights Brewing will host the Double Tap Brewery Tour on Friday and Saturday, offering participants a behind-the-scenes look at Milwaukee’s brewing history.

Families can visit the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum on Sunday for sensory-friendly sessions, providing a quieter experience that is geared towards children sensitive to that.

Unfinished Legacy’s DIY Day, featuring hands-on art activities and a live DJ, will be held on Saturday.
