MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson from VISIT Milwaukee joined us on Thursday, July 11 to preview the first post-Summerfest weekend of events in and around Milwaukee.
Bastille Days will take place from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14 at Cathedral Square Park. The French festival, celebrating its 41st year, features food, entertainment and the Storm the Bastille Run/Walk, attracting around 250,000 visitors annually.
The Milwaukee Art Museum offers free admission on July 14, 16, 17, 18, 19,and 20. Visitors can explore exhibitions such as "Idris Khan: Repeat After Me" and "Arresting Beauty: Julia Margaret Cameron."
The Trot: A Horseback Riding Experience will be held by Uptown Society on Saturday, July 13 at Kettle Moraine State Park. The 1.5-hour rides run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a cost of $70.
Greg Marcus' "It's Alive on the RiverWalk" continues on July 12 in the Milwaukee Theater District. The event features local artists and free performances.
