MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson of VISIT Milwaukee previewed some fun events happening in and around Milwaukee over the upcoming weekend when he joined us on Thursday, July 25.

Tejano America Fest 2024 will take place on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. Performances by Ramon Ayala, Duelo and Bobby Pulido are scheduled. The event will be hosted by actor Edward James Olmos and Jennifer Lopez tribute artist Connie P. Food and beer trucks provided by Zócalo will be available, with free parking at the casino's parking structure.

The WaterStone Bank Air and Water Show will also be held on Saturday and Sunday. It includes performances by the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. Tickets for reserved seating are available.

The Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival runs from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday at Veteran’s Park and the Harley-Davidson Museum. The event celebrates moto-culture with live performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jelly Roll and HARDY.

The Milwaukee Public Museum is hosting Dino Days of Summer through Aug. 17. Visitors can examine real dinosaur fossils and participate in dino-themed activities. Admission is free with an MPM membership.

German Fest Milwaukee will be held from Friday, July 26 through Sunday on the Summerfest grounds. The festival features authentic food, culture and entertainment, including a unique Stichfass beer from Lakefront Brewery and activities such as learning to play "Schafkopf" and taking German 101 classes.
