MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson from VISIT Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, Aug. 7 to preview variety of events scheduled for August.
Wheels & Water will take place at Discovery World on Sunday, Aug. 11. This free event features large machinery and exhibits like Milwaukee Muscle. Mermaid Echo will perform in the Reiman Aquarium at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The Milwaukee Dragon Boat Festival is set for Saturday, Aug. 10 at Lakeshore State Park, showcasing dragon boat races, cultural performances and food vendors.
Red Bull Wake the City debuts in the U.S. on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Henry Maier Festival Grounds. Thirty-six professional wakeboarders will compete in a doubles format.
The Summer of Soul: Outdoor Marketplace & Concert Series runs through Sept. 18 at the Marcus Performing Arts Center. Upcoming performances include Moonchild on Aug. 7 and Talib Kweli on Aug. 21.
