MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- September has arrived, meaning a new month of fun events that help bridge the gap between summertime and the entry intro fall. Ian Thompson from Visit Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, Sept. 4 to take a look at some events scheduled for September in the Milwaukee area.

The Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles watch party at On Tap is set for Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:15 p.m. Attendees can expect prize giveaways, including a Blackstone Griddle and food and drink specials throughout the evening.

Friday also marks the beginning of The Big Bounce America, running until Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Summerfest Grounds. The event offers a massive inflatable experience with activities for all ages, including giant slides and a resident DJ.

The Elegant Farmer Autumn Harvest Festival begins on Saturday, Sept. 7 and continues through Sunday, Oct. 27 in Mukwonago. It features apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides and a family-friendly corn maze.

Fromm Petfest returns on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Henry Maier Festival Park. The event includes dock diving, agility courses and a new small-dog Lure Course.

Doors Open Milwaukee, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29, offers behind-the-scenes tours of commercial buildings, art galleries and urban gardens across Milwaukee.

Finally, the Dry Creek Wine Dinner takes place on Monday, Sept. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Vault, featuring a five-course meal paired with wines from Dry Creek Vineyard.
