Voting underway for the next We Energies ambassadog

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Voting is underway to select the next We Energies safe digging "ambassadog."

The winner will be the star of a special campaign promoting a safety message: "Doggone it! Call 811 at least three days before you dig."

We Energies customers submitted pictures of their precious pups. After careful consideration, the company narrowed it down to the fetching finalists, according to We Energies.

You can cast as many votes as you'd like between now and 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 29., according to We Energies. 

The next ambassadog will be revealed before Aug. 11 (8/11) and be featured in the company’s safe digging awareness campaign all year long.
