Wauwatosa Common Council passes mask ordinance

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wauwatosa Common Council passed a local ordinance Tuesday, Aug. 4, requiring the use of face coverings. 

According to the city, the main difference between the state's order and Wauwatosa's ordinance is that the timeline has been extended through Jan. 31, 2021 in Wauwatosa. 

The Common Council may set a different expiration date by a future amendment.
