Wauwatosa School Board votes to release legal opinion on partial MPS merger

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In a special meeting Tuesday night, the Wauwatosa School Board voted to release a legal opinion sought after talks of a partial MPS merger. 

A board member revealed in a meeting Monday night that the board got a legal opinion that bringing Wauwatosa-adjacent neighborhoods into their school district boundary can't happen.

According to the district's communications director, the legal opinion will be shared to the public Wednesday.
