MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Marquette Golden Eagles are trying to bust some brackets! On Wednesday, March 19, fans gathered at the Al McGuire Center for a send-off celebration ahead of the team's trip to Cleveland for Friday's game against New Mexico. 

It's an energy they urge fans to keep up as the Golden Eagles hope for a deep run in the tournament. 

"Thank you for supporting us the way you do. My message to our fans is, 'We are Marquette. We're in this together, we're going after it,'" said Head Coach Shaka Smart. "There are a bunch of people in our locker room pouring all they can into the opportunity."
