We Energies partners with Molson Coors for new solar program

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We Energies is hopping on a new solar partnership with a hometown brewer. 

Molson Coors is joining the utility's "Renewable Pathway" pilot project. 

Officials say the initiative will help several of the brewer's operations transition from renewable electricity. 

Power will come from the recently completed Badger Hollow Solar Park. 

“This innovative program is another effort to ensure our customers have the affordable, reliable and clean energy they depend on,” said Scott Lauber, president of We Energies. “We raise a glass to this partnership and thank Molson Coors for its commitment to a more sustainable city and state.”
