We Energies: Hundreds remain without power as strong winds whip through SE Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of We Energies customers remain without power Monday evening, Oct. 25.
Strong winds created massive waves on Lake Michigan throughout the day.
A wind advisory and lakeshore flood advisory was in place until 7 p.m. Monday for Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thousands of people are without power in southeast Wisconsin Monday morning, Oct. 25.
Storms and strong winds are moving through the area.
We Energies reports around 9:45 a.m., more than 4,000 customers remain without power.

Meantime, the weather caused several traffic tie-ups, including crashes, spin outs and disabled vehicles.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: The roads are wet this morning, so please drive with caution and care. Between 4 a.m. and approximately 8 a.m., Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputies have responded to 10 crashes - eight property damage-only, one with injuries, and one undetermined as of yet.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) cameras captured a jackknifed semi in the Marquette Interchange.
