RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One local organization based out of Racine is hosting a Christmas celebration this weekend for people of all ages and abilities.
We Rock the Spectrum Kids' Gym is hosting its first annual holiday party on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The gym provides a number of activities that are sensory-friendly, and able to provide fun to those with sensory processing disorders, different abilities and limitations. Their holiday party aims to offer ice cream, food, drinks, open play as well as photos with Sensitive Santa, a photo opportunity that helps to make the traditional Santa visit more accessible to kids with special needs.
Heather Bennett with We Rock the Spectrum joined us on Friday, Dec. 16 to discuss the party and the gym itself.
More information can be found by visiting the event's Facebook page.
