We're in full winter mode now

Find the heavier jackets and winter wear and keep them by your side.  You're going to need them for quite some time.  Looks like winter is here to stay for the foreseeable future.  We're talking about highs in the 20s and 30s for the next 5 to 10 days.  At least the wind is getting better.  We had gusts around 60 mph on Tuesday in many spots.  However, winds will still be brisk from the west today, making it feel like the single digits and teens at times. 

We are tracking a bit of snow, especially Friday night into Saturday morning.  Just a dusting to a slight accumulation can be expected.  This will be enough to make for some slick spots due to black ice. 

Once this system passes, the rest of the weekend looks to be dry and seasonable with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens and 20s.
