WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say the suspect has been taken into custody.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police are searching for an escaped prisoner in the area of 88th and Hayes. 

Police say 29-year-old Charles Gregory is about 6' tall, with a thin build and dreadlocks.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, ripped blue jeans, and yellow boots. He was wearing handcuffs behind his back when last seen. 

Officials say they do not believe there is an immediate danger to the community. 

Anyone who sees Gregory or knows anything about the incident is asked to contact the West Allis Police Department immediately.
