
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A police chase early Thursday, Oct. 16 ended in a crash and three arrests in West Allis.
Officers tried to stop a U-Haul van around 1:45 a.m. near 89th and Lincoln for traffic violations, but the driver kept going, according to police. The van developed a flat tire during the pursuit, lost control, and struck a pole before coming to a stop after a precision maneuver.
The 27-year-old driver from West Allis allegedly ran from the van but was caught after a chase. Officials said the driver was booked on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, eluding, resisting and a warrant.
A 37-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both from West Allis, were also in the van. The woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were evaluated and cleared by medical personnel.
