West Allis Police Searching for Driver after High Speed Chase

At approximately 12:52 am on Wednesday, December 7 a West Allis police officer observed a vehicle traveling at a very high rate of speed eastbound on W. Becher St. 

A successful stop stick deployment occurred at S. 60th and W. Burnham St.

A short pursuit ensued but West Allis officers quickly lost sight of the vehicle and the pursuit was terminated. 

After checking the area, officers located the crashed vehicle in the area of the 200 block of S. Hawley Rd. West Allis officers searched the area but were unable to locate the driver of the vehicle. 

The investigation is open and ongoing.
