Who do Brewers fans want to face off against in the World Series?
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — We are now just days away from the World Series kicking off in Milwaukee at American Family Field.
Brewers mania is taking over the city, and excited fans say they can't wait for the matchup, but the question remains: Who will the Crew face off against?
"Yeah, it's pretty much the conversation with everybody," said Brewers fan Tom Weier. "What's going on? Who are they going to play?"
Brewers fans are continuing to ride the high of their home team securing a spot in the World Series.
"I think it's great," said Brewers fan Joe McFarland. "I think it's great for the city, I think it's great for Wisconsin, and above all, I think it's great for the Brewers."
While fans continue to embrace the celebrations, they are counting down the days until the World Series, which kicks off at American Family Field on Friday.
However, one question remains top of mind: Who do fans want to see the Brewers face in the World Series?
"Well, personally, I'd rather see the Rays because when I travel to see them win, I would rather it be in Tampa."
Brewers fans have mixed opinions on who they want to see face off against the Crew.
"The Rays," said one fan.
"I'd like to see it be Midwestern," said another.
Regardless of who the Crew will play, fans say they are cherishing every part of the World Series experience.
"It's so fun," said Brewers fans Libby Griffin and Ingrid Reyes. "I'm so excited to be in Milwaukee. Yeah, couldn’t agree more. Can't wait."
That includes loading up on championship merchandise to show their Brewers pride as they continue to cheer for their team all the way to the finish line.
"It's really exciting, and my family is all into the Brewers," said Brewers fan Jacque Weier. "My daughter, son-in-law, the two little grandkids, you know, they all went down and got their shirts. So, it's been Brewers in our family for a while."
