Who is peaking for fall colors and where to go

If you’re on tap for a drive this weekend to look at the fall changes, this weekend could be yours. A chunk of the state has already reached peak, especially in the Northwoods, Door County, and portions in central and southwestern Wisconsin.

Most of southeastern and south central Wisconsin has not reached peak yet, however, will be near peak in the next week or two. Milwaukee County is at 65% to peak and could reach peak by the third week of October. The same can be said for Washington, Ozaukee, and Waukesha Counties.
