WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair has crowned Brookfield artist Jeff Sadowski the 2024 Grand Champion Fairtastic Artist for his painting commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Wisconsin State Fair Cream Puff.

Sadowski’s work, illustrating fairgoers entering the grand Wisconsin State Fair entrance with the fair's signature Cream Puffs, was selected by a trio of judges as the winner.

Sadowski is a Racine native who operates an art studio from his home in Brookfield.

Commemorative posters, along with other items bearing Sadowski’s winning design, will be on sale at the 2024 Wisconsin State Fair. Proceeds from these sales will benefit the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation, aimed at supporting the preservation of Fair Park and enhancing educational and artistic programs.
