MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association is introducing a State Fair-exclusive treat this year through a partnership with O&H Danish Bakery.
The Cranberry Dream Bar features a blonde brownie base with vanilla, Wisconsin cranberries and white chocolate, topped with vanilla frosting and dried cranberries. It will be available at the association's booth in the Wisconsin Building, which also features a cranberry white chocolate cookie, dried cranberry snack packs and cranberry juice.
The booth includes interactive features such as a mini cranberry marsh with real vines and a mascot, Crandall Cranberry, who appears daily from 1 to 3 p.m.
Wisconsin is the nation's leading cranberry grower, producing more than 60% of the U.S. crop, according to the association. Cranberries are also the state's official fruit.
