A doctor from Delafield recently completed an epic journey across the country raising awareness of an important issue at each stop. Dr. Adel Korkor is a nephrologist from the Waukesha area with a passion for the issue of mental health.
Last weekend, Dr. Korkor completed his fiftieth 5K race in fifty days, each completed in a different state.
Dr. Korkor says what we are experiencing is an epidemic. Mental health is now the second-leading cause of disability in the United States and suicide rates are at a 30-year high.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Jacob Kittilstad showed just how far Dr. Korkor will go to let those who are suffering know they are not alone.
