ENDEAVOR, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Silent Night Evergreens, a tree farm in Endeavor, about 45 minutes north of Madison, will supply this year's official White House Christmas tree after winning the National Christmas Tree Association's 2026 Grand Champion Grower contest.

It's the fourth time the farm has earned the honor.

The tree, a concolor fir, will be displayed in the White House Blue Room and is expected to arrive in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 20.

David Chapman, owner of Silent Night Evergreens, talked about what the selection mans to the farm and the family.

"We're super excited because it's the first time going with my wife owning the farm outright. And we're bringing our young daughters, who are 8 and 10 now. Last time we went was in 2017. One was just born and the other, my wife was pregnant. They haven't had the chance to go to the White House. I think this time it's very special to bring them, and that makes us all excited."
