WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- "The cold never bothered me anyway."
Wauwatosa West High School is preparing to unveil its interpretation of Disney's Frozen: The Broadway Musical. Echoing the lyrics of the film's standout song, "Let it Go," the school's theater program is set to release its talent and creativity upon the stage.
The performances will run from Friday, Nov. 10 to Saturday, Nov. 18.
The theater program acquired the exclusive rights to produce the musical in Sept. 2022 after being victorious in "The United States of Frozen: Love is an Open Door" competition. This contest allowed one high school in every state to present the production.
Wauwatosa West stands alone as the Wisconsin high school chosen for this distinct honor, facilitated through collaborations with the Educational Theatre Association, Music Theatre Internationa, and Disney Theatrical Group.
