Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest to host 'Summer Fair Job Fest' on July 10

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest will join forces to host a combined job fair, the "Summer Fair Job Fest" on Saturday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Exposition Center at State Fair Park.

The Summer Fair Job Fest is looking to fill hundreds of positions from entry level to supervisor roles. Wisconsin State Fair will be hiring for positions for the 11 days of the fair. Summerfest is looking to hire for the festival season July through October, in addition to the nine days of the festival.

“Together, we create thousands of job opportunities with hundreds of openings still remaining that provide an incredible chance to be hired by two premier Wisconsin events,” said Kathleen O’Leary, Wisconsin State Fair CEO. “We are excited to be collaborating with Summerfest and thrilled to bring back summer fun, but we need the help of the community to make these events happen.”

Potential hires participating in the job fest will have the opportunity for on-the-spot hiring. Free parking will be available during the fest. Candidates can also apply online for immediate consideration.

A variety of opportunities are available in multiple departments including public safety, admissions, facilities/operations, and food/beverage/hospitality.
