WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Opportunities are open for people to work at the Wisconsin State Fair in 2024. A hiring event will be held at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Positions available include concert ushers, ticket sellers, ticket takers, equipment operators, custodians, information center team members, public safety officers and special response team members.

Employees will be required to be available to work from Aug. 1 to Aug. 11 and must be at least 16 years old. Applicants aged 18 and older will need to pass a criminal background check.

Attendees should bring a resume, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and a Social Security card.
