WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) - The Wisconsin State Fair is set to start on July 31 and run for 11 days through August 10.

“The fair is special because we really have something for everyone and not only that, but we touch all aspects,” Wisconsin State Fair CEO Shari Black said. “It’s very diverse, we have offerings that everyone can enjoy, you can’t be bored here.”

This year the Original Cream Puff Pavillion has been renovated into The Dairy Building.

The renovated building includes a bigger kitchen and a more modern look to help enhance the tradition of the state fair cream puffs.

There will be three flavors in 2025 which includes original, chocolate and strawberry.

The fair will also have new bathrooms along with new signs to help make the fair experience perfect.

“The Wisconsin State Fair is almost like no other, it’s a top 5 fair in the country, it’s spectacular, it’s fun, the energy is unbelievable and we’re ready for it,” said Badger Bites Owner Nick Marking.

Marking’s first fair was last year, and he will be returning for a second time this year.

Michelle Waterbury has been a vendor at the fair since she was little and makes the trip up from Florida every year.

“All the best fairs are in the Midwest in the summertime,” Waterbury said. “I always tell people that the Wisconsin state fair is not like any other.”
