Wisconsin State Fair to offer sensory-friendly experience Monday morning

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, featuring a special session for people with sensory needs.

The "Sensory-Friendly SpinCity Morning" will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the SpinCity section of the fair. During this period, lights, sounds and announcements will be reduced to accommodate those with unique sensory sensitivities.

The goal of the morning is to allow more people to enjoy games and rides in a comfortable and healthy environment.
