Wisconsin State Highway 2023 map released, updates include 'Wonders of Wisconsin'

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The official 2023 Wisconsin State Highway Map is now available both in print and online. The map, a joint effort between the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, offers the latest updates on state and local roadways.

The new map also incorporates the "Wonders of Wisconsin," information about refreshed Wisconsin Welcome Centers, updated Census data, Amtrak Service and more.

Gov. Evers encouraged all to utilize the map, stating in a May 15 press release, “The Wisconsin State Highway Map isn’t just a critical resource to help folks get from point A to point B, but to inspire them to explore all the great things Wisconsin has to offer along the way.”

Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary, Anne Sayers, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the map's value for travelers.

"Each year, the Wisconsin State Highway Map is a valuable resource as travelers hit the road to make memories throughout our state," said Sayers. "Incorporating the Wonders of Wisconsin and our newly refreshed Wisconsin Welcome Centers are both fantastic additions to inspire travelers to discover even more unexpected adventures throughout their journey."
