MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's another sign that spring is on the way. The Brewers loaded up a truck, heading to Phoenix for spring training.
The Johnsonville Racing Sausages helped load the truck with 20-thousand baseballs, bats, and helmets.
There's also sunflower seeds, bubble gum, and everything else that players need to get ready for the season. The Brewers say they're optimistic about the team this year.
"People are talking about the Brewers and talking good things about the Brewers. The long-term plan is to win multiple World Series so however, we get there is fine with me," said Rick Schlesinger.
The truck is expected to arrive in Phoenix on Friday.
Pitchers and catchers report on Valentine's Day.
The rest of the team will arrive on February 19. The teams' first workout will be on February 20.
