With no playoffs ahead for Bucks, fans reflect on 2025-2026 season
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - The Milwaukee Bucks have their final game at Fiserv Forum on Friday night, April 10.
It’s the first time since the 2015 to 2016, over a decade, that the team has not played in the playoffs.
“I haven’t missed a home game all season,” Bucks fan Freddy Zepeda said. “Giannis was hurt, a lot of us were hurt, Myles Turner missed games, Bobby missed games.”
It was an up and down year with a lot of injuries, but also a lot of losses.
“A little disappointed but I know I’m always gonna rep the Bucks,” Bucks fan Mackenna Milchner said. “I’m always gonna love them, love our team, especially Giannis, gotta rep him but it’s a little disappointing.”
As rumors continue to swirl about the future between Giannis and the Bucks, those that grew up watching him are not ready to say goodbye.
“I don’t want to believe it, I don’t think it’s true, maybe it is but I just really want Giannis to stay because obviously I grew up with him he’s been here my entire life,” Milchner said.
With the regular season wrapping up and no playoffs coming up next week, fans are already thinking about next season.
“It’s kind of sad that they didn’t have a winning record, but I will love my Bucks no matter if they win or lose,” Bucks fan Kim Artz said. “There’s always next year and the future, you’re allowed to have a bad year here and there.”
