Woman arrested in St. Francis for allegedly hitting man with wooden cribbage board

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A woman is was arrested after police say she hit a man with a wooden cribbage board during an argument. 

It happened Sunday, January 13 around 10:15 p.m. in the area of S. Arctic Avenue and E. Cora Avenue.

St. Francis Police say a neighbor called 911 after hearing a slamming noise and thought there may be a physical altercation. 

According to investigators, a man and a woman had been arguing and during the argument the woman swung the cribbage board at the man, injuring his leg. The woman was arrested for domestic violence-related battery. She was later taken to the Milwaukee County Jail. 

St. Francis Police say the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office will review the case for charges.
