WWE wrestler raising money for Waukesha Christmas parade fund in honor of Jackson Sparks
WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The WWE is bringing Smackdown to Green Bay Friday and one of its tough guy stars is reaching out to a family touched by tragedy.
Braun Strowman will be in the ring in Green Bay Friday, and we've learned his appearance will include a loving gesture to the family of Jackson Sparks.
"Unfortunately, last year there was a travesty in the city of Waukesha, Wisconsin in the Christmas parade," said Strowman.
On a video posted to the Green Bay Packers Twitter page, Strowman says he learned that Jackson Sparks, who lost his life in the 2021 parade, was not only a baseball fan, but a wrestling fan too. He'd always wanted to meet his wrestling hero, Braun Strowman.
Braun Strowman teamed up with the #Packers to create custom boots to honor a young fan who was a victim in the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy.

"That really spoke to me even more and told me how I needed to do more for these people and this family. So, I had the awesome opportunity to work with the Green Bay Packers and I'm having a custom pair of boots made."
Strowman will wear those special Packers boots Friday during Smackdown, and after it's over, the boots will be auctioned off.
The proceeds will go to the Waukesha Community Foundation's parade fund.
The Sparks family will be there Friday night to meet Strowman.
