MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Joe Krauss of B93.3 FM joined us on Friday, Aug. 22 to preview family-friendly activities happening throughout the Milwaukee area over the weekend.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, Float Fest MKE will feature live performances by Mermaid Echo and Mr. Larkin inside a 750-gallon traveling tank at Float MKE from 3 to 7 p.m. Also Saturday, a free outdoor screening of The Garfield Movie begins at 8:30 p.m. at Veterans Park.
Events on Sunday, Aug. 24 include the Back 2 School Party at Beulah Brinton Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wheels & Water, a hands-on vehicle showcase outside Discovery World from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More options include the Falls Festival of the Arts in Menomonee Falls on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Stuff Your Stanley promotion at Purple Door Ice Cream, running noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
