'You can't ask for more': Brewers fans celebrate as team secures 4th straight division title
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Brewers fans are feeling good as their home team secured their fourth straight division title Tuesday night.
The anticipation was building all day, and after the Brewers took the win, and their rivals, the Chicago Cubs, took the loss, the celebration began.
It was nothing but smiles as the Brew Crew dominated on the diamond, taking the win against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Lifelong fans at The Social Haus in Menomonee Falls say this is the best they've seen the Crew; they say this is their year to go all the way.
In addition to the division title being secured, the highlight of their night was watching Miz in action on the mound.
"Absolutely phenomenal," said Brewers fan Jim Lutz. "This team is the most fun to watch. They play real baseball; they are not just doing it for the fans. Murphy's got to be Coach of the Year for the third time, for sure. Miz, I mean, you can't ask for more."
One thing's for sure. It feels good to be a member of the Crew tonight, and fans can't wait to keep cheering them on every step of the way in post-season.
