MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - According to ESPN, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent have started talks with the Bucks about his future, and if it’s best for Giannis to play elsewhere.
“I know that raised a ton of concerns for everybody, for Milwaukee, for Giannis fans and probably the whole NBA.” Bucks fan Romeo Herring said. “It’s a really big deal when one of the big superstars makes a statement like that.”
Herring was at the Bucks game on Wednesday night, first in line pregame, with his Giannis jersey on.
“We’re just gonna have to do the best we can as Bucks fans and keep continuing our support,” Herring said. “Please stay, that’s all I’m gonna say, please, we don’t want you to leave Giannis, please, we want you to stay.”
Other fans say it will be a peaceful goodbye if the NBA Finals MVP and nine-time All Star decides to leave Milwaukee.
“I love him, his heart is in Milwaukee and if he needs to leave do what you gotta do brother I love you no matter what,” Bucks fan Tony Storlid said.
