MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- John Driskell Hopkins, founding member of the Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band, is using his platform to fight against ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, through his nonprofit organization, Hop on a Cure.
The organization, founded in March 2022, aims to raise funds for ALS research. Hopkins discussed details when he joined us on Friday, June 23.
Hopkins' personal bike will be displayed at Summerfest in Milwaukee for an auction benefiting Hop on a Cure. The bike will also be displayed at the Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Celebration on July 14 and 15 at Veterans Park.
Bidding is available in person at these events or online.
The Zac Brown Band performance at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 23.
