1 dead and two wounded in rollover crash in Hancock, WI
HANCOCK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol is reporting a fatal crash that happened on Sunday, July 9 on I-39 southbound between Hancock and Plainfield at milepost 132 around 11:43 a.m.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and Waushara County EMS responded to a 2003 Ford utility truck that had rolled over with three people inside. The driver, a 31-year-old Bellflower, CA man and one of the passengers, a 21-year-old Kingwood, TX man, had unknown injuries and were taken to the UW Hospital in Madison.
The other passenger, a 29-year-old Deatsville, AL man, was ejected from the truck. CPR was performed; however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both southbound lanes were shut down for about 30 minutes.
The State patrol is investigating this incident.
