Packers great Clay Matthews helps vets, pulls for Rodgers this week

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One of Aaron Rodgers' teammates is speaking about him. CBS 58 Sports Director Lance Allan goes one-on-one with Clay Matthews, who also discussed why he's teaming up with Verizon to relieve debt for veterans.
"What's awesome though is, you know, we're talking about a Packers team where for every win, they get this year, Verizon donates $100,000 to veteran debt relief, which is awesome," Clay Matthews says. "And listen, Packers are rolling this year. I expect them to have many more victories and hopefully by the end of the year, Verizon will have donated well over a million dollars. I know they've already done more than that."
What does Clay think about the Rodgers revenge tour and next week, next Sunday night against his old team?
"I'm excited about it," Matthews says. "I mean, Aaron looks great. If you give him a clean pocket, there's not a defense out there he can't beat. He looked great last night. That was a fun game to watch, which I did not expect between Flacco and Rodgers. But I'm pulling for Rodgers next week. I know Packers fans might be mad at me. But that guy was the reason I had all the success I had, and the Packers had and for the 10 years that we were together, but obviously however many years he was with the Packers. So, I'm hoping he plays fantastic. I'm hoping for a good game but it's a fun one to watch. I'm hoping his nerves, he can, he's a steel trap. He won't have any nerves. He'll be ready to go but it should be a fun game to watch."
Final thing is RIP Kevin Greene, but how many times in your life have you heard it is time, or have you told your kids it is time to clean your room or do your chores?
"Well listen," Matthews says with a laugh. "I just had a meet and greet here at the Verizon store in Milwaukee. And you hear the voices in the background, it is time!"
