1 person dead after shooting near 35th and Courtland

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead near 35th and Courtland Ave. at around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
A 39-year-old victim sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead around 9:08 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect(s).
