MILWAUKEE (CBS58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead on Monday, July 29 around 11:19 p.m. near 13th and North Ave.

Police report that a 28-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital, where they later died due to injuries from this shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, with MPD actively searching for unknown suspects.
