A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a crash that happened on Friday, Feb. 16.
It happened around 1:37 p.m. near Capitol and 79th.
The driver of the vehicle lost control of their vehicle and swerved to avoid colliding with another vehicle, according to police.
The driver collided into the fence and building.
Two pedestrians inside the building were injured by debris. A 40-year-old pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. A 3-year-old sustained non-fatal injuries and was not transported to a hospital.
"I heard a loud 'err' then a 'boom boom,' and then you just heard after that, you hear a few screams and see people coming out," said a witness.
"It's the norm over here with the speeding," said the witness.
No other injuries were reported.
