Woman killed in crash near 95th and Brown Deer, man arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that killed a 31-year-old woman Wednesday, May 15. 

Officials say it happened just before 3:30 p.m. near 95th and Brown Deer Road. The 31-year-old was later identified as Kimberly Robbins. 

Police say a vehicle was traveling westbound on W. Brown Deer Road and changing lanes when it collided with a second vehicle, lost control, and collided with a traffic post, streetlamp and tree. 

The vehicle then rolled over and collided with a chain link fence. The 31-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say the driver of the second vehicle, a 22-year-old man, received medical attention for a minor injury on scene and left before officers arrived. He was located around 10:25 p.m. near 27th and Vienna and taken into custody. 

Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
